The first Phase of 100 units comprising of three types of structures which include 2 types of semi-detached buildings and 1 type of 4 bedroom fully detached buildings with attached boys quarters is now almost ready in President Muhammadu Buhari's Estate in Abeokuta, capital of Ogun State.
The sprawling estate which sits on vast hectares of land in the Gateway State and now known as Muhammadu Buhari's (MB) Estate is due to be commissioned soon, says the Special Adviser to the Ogun State Governor on Housing, Arc. Abiodun Fari-Arole.
Arc. Fari-Arole who is also the Managing Director of Ogun State Property and Investment Corporation, OPIC, during an inspection tour of the estate in Abeokuta yesterday said the project is nearing completion.
He noted that the first Phase of 100 units that comprised of three typologies, including 2 types of semi-detached and 1 typology of 4 bedroom fully detached with an attached boys quarter would soon be fully completed.
The MD stated that the idea was conceived by the present administration in order to provide top value housing needs for the people, adding that it would also make the ease of doing business better for the citizens and investors in the State.
Arc. Fari- Arole noted that the estate was the first of its kind in the State, adding that it would greatly impact the economy and also improve the properties within and around the environs.
Contributing, Special Adviser to the Governor on Housing, OPIC and Special Project , Prince Faroouq Adenugba said that the estate was built with State of art facilities, saying it was the vehicle through which the vision of an industrialised Ogun State was actualised.
Also speaking, Director Marketing and Business Development, OPIC, Mr. Dehinde Boye said the purchase of the houses in the estate is opened to all citizens in the State, abroad and investors, saying they should visit the marketing department of the Corporation for further enquiries.
The President Muhammadu Buhari (PMB) Estate in Abeokuta, Ogun State, is a state-owned luxury residential project located along Kobape Road, near the Ogun Tech Hub and the State Judiciary Complex, providing easy access to major parts of the capital.
It offers modern amenities like 24/7 electricity, security and a children's playground, Secured, gated environment, paved roads, street lighting, and proximity to the Abeokuta Golf Club and Wole Soyinka Train Station.
Originally initiated in 2016, the estate was designed for high-end residential living, with plots also made available for private development.
