Friends and well-wishers of the Deputy Governor of Ogun State, Engr. Noimot Salako-Oyedele have started pouring in congratulations, applause and cheers as she attains the golden age of 60 on January 8, this year.
The Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun congratulated her, describing her as an able lieutenant that had demonstrated rare leadership and contributed immensely to the "Building our future Together Agenda " of his administration.
He noted that her journey as an accomplished engineer, administrator and public servant is nothing short of extraordinary.
Prince Abiodun said Engr. Salako-Oyedele remained a source of inspiration to womanhood, young professionals and indeed all the citizens of Ogun State, adding that her efforts, wise counsel and commitment to excellence had greatly enhanced the stability and effectiveness of his Government.
Governor Abiodun declared that, "with your support, loyalty and collaborative spirit, we have been able to deliver on our mandate and positively impacted our people".
He noted that attaining the exceptional milestone of 60 years on earth has afforded him the opportunity to celebrate the life of his deputy, one which he said was marked with purposeful leadership, dedication and outstanding service, praying Almighty Allah to grant her good health, renewed vigor and many more fruitful years in the service of humanity and that her efforts be rewarded with greater accomplishments.
Also felicitating with Engr. Noimot Salako-Oyedele, the Honorable Minister for Women Affairs, Hon. Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim, described her as a trailblazer, revealed that she is a woman that has continued to live and lead with integrity, vision and hard work.
In her words, "throughout your career you have provided a master-class in balancing professional excellence with compassionate, people-centered leadership, therefore, on behalf of the Nigerian Women, children, families and other vulnerable groups whom we serve, we salute your contributions to governance and unwavering commitment to the upliftment of women and children’’
Also speaking about the State Deputy Governor was her counterpart and Deputy Governor of Ekiti State, Chief (Mrs) Monisade Afuye, who called her an amazon of loyalty.
Chief (Mrs) Afuye revealed further that Engr. Salako-Oyedele is a dependable political ally, occasioned by her personal relationship with her as well as her steely and unshakable loyalty to her boss, the Governor of Ogun State.
Among the well-wishers that celebrated the Deputy Governor was the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Alpha Morgan Bank, Mr. Ade Buraimo, who on behalf of the Management and staff of the organization, extended warm regards to the Deputy Governor, saying he was celebrating not only the years attained, but the legacy built by her, that was defined by purpose, service and public influence.
