Adekunle Gold and spouse, Simi get twins

In what appeared like a New Year windfall, popular Nigerian singer Adekunle Gold and his spouse, Simi, also a well known crooner have reportedly birthed twins.

Recall that in December 2025, congratulatory messages poured in online as Simi and Adekunle Gold confirmed to all and sundry that they were expecting a child.

Nigerian vocal powerhouse, Simi, shows off her heavy baby bump in the music video of her husband's song “My Love Is The Same," which was released on December 24th, 2025.

The music video showcases a happy family as Adekunle Gold was together with heavily pregnant Simi and their child, Dejare.

It would also be recalled that Simi and Adekunle Gold married in a private ceremony in January 2019 (specifically Jan 9) and welcomed their first child, a daughter named Adejare (Deja), on May 30, 2020. 

Hinting at the arrival of the new born children, Adekunle Gold said that he asked God for another child, he ended up blessing him with a double. 

Taking to his official page on Snapchat, Adekunle Gold wrote, “Asked god for another child and he blessed me double.”

Adekunle added, “Double Trouble”, confirming the arrival of the twin babies.
