The Odeda Local Government Area Liaison Officer to Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State, Alhaji Semiu Bola Lawal a.k.a SEMBOL, has appealed to all residents of the state to come out en masse in the forthcoming Gubernatorial Election to vote for the All Progressives Congress (APC).
In an exclusive chat with THE STATEPOST after casting his vote at a polling unit at Camp, near Osiele, Abeokuta, during the recent Presidential Election held nationwide, Alhaji Lawal, also a former Chairman of Odeda Local Government Area begged that residents of the state should troop out to vote for Governor Dapo Abiodun.
According to Alhaji Lawal, a chieftain of the All People's Congress (APC), the conduct of the people of the state during the just concluded presidential and National Assembly elections was commendable.
He expressed his satisfaction with the orderly manner in which the people conducted themselves during the said election which he described as a very peaceful and highly successful exercise.
He enjoined Ogun residents to sustain the tempo of the last election during the forthcoming Gubernatorial and State House of Assembly elections coming up on the 11th of March 2023.
Alhaji Lawal stressed that he was not disappointed considering the level of education and exposure of an average indigine of the state but insisted that all votes should be given to APC as he said Governor Abiodun deserved a second term.
He noted that his principal, the governor has exhibited rare statesmanship in that he has not abandon unfinished projects of his predecessor as he believed that government is a continuum.
He said the governor is very peaceful and purposeful as he had performed creditably to the best of his ability by executing tangible projects that had really helped to project Ogun as a state on the make.
