Gov Abiodun
Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State has described Late Alhaji Abdulkadir Balarabe Musa, the second Republic Governor of Kaduna State as a selfless statesman who made Nigerian masses his primary concern.
Abiodun extolled the virtues of the former governor while commiserating with the government and people of Kaduna State, over the demise of Alhaji Balarabe Musa, who died at the age of 84.
In a statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary to Governor Abiodun, Mr Kunle Somorin, the late elder statesman was described as a selfless humanist, who served his people with all sense of responsibility.
"He lived an exemplary life dedicated to the service of God and man. He was a selfless statesman who made Nigerian masses his primary concern", the statement said.
The statement added that the late left-wing Nigerian politician who became Governor of Kaduna State under the umbrella of the People's Redemption Party (PRP), in October 1979, served his people with dignity and sense of purpose.
Governor Abiodun prayed that God would give the family and the people of Kaduna State the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.
